PTA - meeting - AGM

Don't forget AGM is on 7th October at 7.00pm

Fun Afternoon

On Tuesday of next week Maesybryn is putting on a fun afternoon for all the children. The PTA will be running a tuck shop at this event so please could the children bring their money to school in a small purse with their name inside.

Summer Fayre

Hi Everyone,
What can I say, Saturdays Fayre was a great success, thanks to all the PTA members who worked so hard to bring everything together. What a team we make. Thanks to all who helped set up and pack away. I would like to mention everyone in person but I think it would take hours!
The band was a success, also the water cage thanks to all who got wet, some wetter than others!!

Thanks to the year six pupils, Natalie Richards and Tina Fish's girls, and my son Matthew.

We will be continuing with the children's raffle all next week. 10p a ticket, the children can bring money in and Mrs. Richards will go around the classes all next week. We always have lots of prizes, the children enjoy waiting patiently holding onto their ticket for their name to be called out in Fridays assembly.

Mrs. Richards has informed me that we have made so far aprox£1,400 with the children's raffle to be added.

Therefore, well done everyone, both PTA members and parents, family and friends who came to support the fayre.

Bags2school

The PTA are organising 'Bag2school'this term. Please collect up your unwanted clothes,etc. Bags will go home on Friday 11th June. These should then be brought back to school on Wednesday 16th June for collection.

Only just learnt how to do this, in school time (sorry Mr. Roberts) and didn't say all I needed. I would myself like to thank Mr. Monk for an excellent job on Friday, and I am so sorry it took him so long to eat his chicken and chips!
Thanks to Heather Robinson for selling raffle tickets quicker than Linford Cristy can run!
Again thanks to the girls in the bar, at one point I think we were having more fun there than in the hall!!
I hope that in the end everyone had a good time and wasn't put off. Thanks for all those who took a bag of rubbish or recycling at the end of the night it was much appreciated.
have been thinking of maybe organising a prize bingo evening, any suggestions let me know.

Quiz Night

Thank all of you for coming to the quiz and making it a very successful and enjoyable evening. We wish to thank Natalie Richards, Tina Fish and Heather Robinson for helping in the bar and a big thank you to Gill Hargreaves for having in her bag 'more quiz questions', and the fund raising team for some fab raffle prizes.
